Feadship Reveals 80m Superyacht Project Thalassa as It Heads into Final Construction Stages

A new milestone has been reached for Feadship’s 80-metre Project Thalassa. Known internally as Project 826, the yacht is now entering the outfitting phase in Amsterdam and is expected to be delivered in 2026.

Thalassa takes her name from the ancient Greek goddess of the sea. Fittingly, one of her most impressive features is a 165-square-metre beach club that opens dramatically to the water — the largest Feadship has ever constructed.

The exterior has been designed by Malcolm McKeon, bringing a modern, elegant silhouette to life. Inside, Milan’s M2Atelier is creating a bespoke interior atmosphere, while Feadship De Voogt is behind the naval engineering.

Built for long-range cruising, Thalassa will be able to travel 5,500 nautical miles at 12 knots and reach a top speed of 16 knots. Her design includes a 13.1-metre beam, a draft of 3.6 metres and a fuel tank with a 194,000-litre capacity.

Project Thalassa’s layout features multiple pools, a semi-sheltered dining area and generous spaces for sunbathing and lounging — all designed to elevate time spent at sea.
