Benetti Sells First B.Yond 57M Superyacht

Benetti Yachts has announced the successful sale of the inaugural unit of its highly anticipated B.Yond 57M superyacht, following its debut at the Monaco Yacht Show 2024. This marks a significant milestone for the shipyard as part of its Voyager series, which emphasizes innovation in hybrid propulsion and sustainable yachting technologies. The 57-meter superyacht offers a sophisticated blend of versatility and performance, tailored for extended voyages.

The B.Yond 57M is the largest hybrid model in the series, boasting an exterior by Igor Lobanov of Lobanov Design and interiors by Bonetti/Kozerski Architecture. Distinguished by expansive glazing, the yacht features light-filled interiors with panoramic views, ensuring an immersive connection to the surrounding seascape.

Key highlights include:

  • Main and Upper Decks: Floor-to-ceiling windows provide unobstructed views, with the upper deck offering 22 meters of open, continuous space from bow to stern.
  • Material Selection: A harmonious interior palette featuring wood and carbon-black window accents.

Customizable Stern Configurations

The B.Yond 57M offers three stern layout options: BeachAir, and Water, each designed to optimize onboard enjoyment during extended cruises. The owner of the first unit selected the Beach configuration, which includes a spacious outdoor area complemented by a 15-square-meter pool. When not in use, a sliding sofa system conceals the pool to maximize deck utility.

  • Beach Club: Spanning 161.8 square meters, this expansive area seamlessly integrates a 15-square-meter pool.
  • Convertible Garage Deck: Measuring 100 square meters, this area transforms into a shaded lounging space, providing a total internal and external living area of 260 square meters when combined with the beach club.

Sustainable Innovation and Zero Emissions

Benetti is steadfast in its commitment to achieving zero emissions by 2030, and the B.Yond 57M exemplifies this ambition. Key features include:

  • Hybrid-Electric Propulsion: Enables emissions-free cruising and anchoring.
  • Advanced HVAC System: A direct expansion system reduces energy consumption by up to 80% compared to traditional systems, while delivering personalized climate control for enhanced onboard comfort.
  • Eco-Friendly Materials: The decks are constructed with EcoDeck®, a recyclable and sustainable alternative to traditional teak. Interiors feature FSC-certified woods, sustainable fabrics, leathers, and stones, along with water-based paints for finishing.

The B.Yond 57M redefines the benchmark for luxury yachting, offering cutting-edge technology, innovative design, and an unwavering focus on sustainability.
