Oceanco & Vripack Reveal 101m Superyacht Lily at Dubai International Boat Show

Oceanco has unveiled its latest 101-meter superyacht concept, Lily, as part of its innovative Beyond Custom series. The reveal took place at the 2025 Dubai International Boat Show, where the Dutch shipyard introduced the groundbreaking design to industry insiders and yacht enthusiasts.

Developed in partnership with Dutch design studio Vripack, Lily features a distinctive split-level bow configuration, a starboard-side wraparound deck, and a dedicated helicopter landing zone positioned on the port side. Beneath this platform lies extensive storage, capable of housing four tenders alongside a helicopter. Lateral Naval Architects oversaw the yacht’s naval architecture, ensuring both structural integrity and performance. Designed with forward-thinking owners in mind, Lily incorporates expansive glass elements throughout, maximizing natural light and providing uninterrupted panoramic views. With an impressive volume of 5,600 GT, she boasts striking sightlines and unexpected vantage points.

Taking inspiration from nature, Lily embraces an organic and sculptural aesthetic, highlighted by fluid overlapping decks. This design approach is made possible through cutting-edge monocoque construction, allowing for seamless integration of structural and aesthetic elements. Lily follows an open-plan concept to create a harmonious sense of space and movement onboard. Inspired by lilypads, her design philosophy mirrors nature’s rhythms, opening up to embrace the sea during daylight hours and closing off for a more intimate ambiance in the evening, as described by Vripack.

As Vripack’s co-creative director, Bart Hoekstra, described, the yacht’s rear profile presents a unique wraparound structure that mimics the delicate curvature of leaves encasing a cocoon. This aft-centric design serves a dual purpose—providing guests with shelter from the sun after a day of waterside activities while maintaining an airy and open atmosphere. The design ensures that the “leaves” of Lilyappear to graze one another without merging, reinforcing the yacht’s organic and dynamic form.

Designed for social versatility, Lily’s layout prioritizes both privacy and connection, making it ideal for multi-family use. The top deck is exclusively reserved for the owner’s residence, featuring an expansive 450-square-meter indoor living space complemented by a 315-square-meter private terrace. Positioned to offer commanding views akin to those from a bridge, the suite provides a secluded retreat with direct access to the yacht’s many amenities.

As a tranquil escape, the owner’s suite is accessible through a private elevator from the leisure deck or by crossing a series of stepping stones placed over a decorative lily pond. An alternative staircase route from the upper deck provides additional access. The suite’s design incorporates sweeping curved glass windows, which are treated with one-way film to maintain privacy while allowing natural light to filter through. Above the entrance, an oval-shaped air vent promotes natural ventilation, enhancing onboard comfort.

Continuing Oceanco’s push for sustainable yachting, Lily incorporates an evolved version of the Energy Transition Platform (ETP), developed in collaboration with Lateral Naval Architects. Her hybrid propulsion system relies on a combination of methanol-reforming fuel cells and methanol-diesel engines, ensuring reduced emissions and improved energy efficiency. Dedicated fuel tanks allow seamless switching between power sources, while the vessel is also equipped with ABB Dynafin™, an advanced propulsion system engineered to optimize efficiency and maneuverability.
