The 89-metre Feadship superyacht Milky Way has entered the next phase of her build, embarking on sea trials after her recent launch from the Royal Van Lent shipyard in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

Built with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, Milky Way features exterior styling and naval architecture by De Voogt Naval Architects, while the interiors have been created by British design studio RWD. Developed with technical support from Occam Marine, the yacht was conceived as a highly adaptable, multi-purpose platform that combines functionality with contemporary luxury.

A defining feature of the design is the yacht's elongated bow, which maximises exterior deck space while contributing to her sleek profile. Inside, soft, flowing lines create a seamless transition between living areas, reinforcing a refined and cohesive onboard atmosphere.

Construction on Milky Way began in 2023. Her steel hull was launched from Feadship's NMC hull fabrication facility in Nieuw-Lekkerland in May 2025 before being transferred to the Royal Van Lent shipyard for outfitting, commissioning and final delivery preparations.
