Riva has released the first interior images and additional details of Sairu, the first hull in its new 54Metri series, following her delivery. Measuring 54.8 metres in length, she is the largest yacht built by the Italian shipyard to date, while remaining below the 500GT threshold.

Developed by Officina Italiana Design in collaboration with the Ferretti Group Product Strategy Committee and the Ferretti Group Engineering Department, the all-aluminium Riva 54Metri builds on the design language established across the Riva fleet while introducing a number of new features aimed at enhancing onboard space and functionality.

Exterior Design

The Riva 54Metri retains several signature styling elements seen across the brand's range, including reverse-curved glazing, cut-out bulwarks and a streamlined profile. Finished in Moon Grey and London Grey metallic paintwork with dark glazing, polished stainless steel detailing and an aquamarine boot stripe, the yacht presents a contemporary interpretation of Riva's established aesthetic.

Compared to the previous 50Metri flagship, Sairu adopts softer exterior lines while increasing outdoor living space to more than 370 square metres.

Designed across four decks connected by a central lift, the layout focuses on strengthening the connection between the interior and the surrounding environment through floor-to-ceiling glazing, fold-down bulwarks and multiple outdoor social areas. Separate circulation routes for guests and crew have also been incorporated to enhance privacy during operation.

Beach Club

The beach club is one of the yacht's main social spaces, extending to more than 60 square metres when the fold-down side terraces are deployed. At its centre is a heated freshwater pool measuring four by two metres, finished in white ceramic tiles. The pool is engineered to remain filled while the yacht is underway.

Forward of the beach club is a glass-enclosed gym equipped with a treadmill, exercise bike and day head. The space also provides direct access to the engine room. A staircase connects the beach club to the main deck aft cockpit above.

Main Deck

Aft Cockpit

The 45-square-metre aft cockpit has been arranged as an outdoor lounge with chaise longues, armchairs and an American bar equipped with a refrigerator, sink and ice maker. Fold-down bulwarks on either side increase the available deck space and can remain open while cruising.

Main Saloon

Large sliding glass doors lead into the main saloon, where the lounge and dining areas share an open-plan layout while remaining visually distinct through different ceiling treatments and flooring materials. The aft lounge features an L-shaped sofa and two white leather armchairs, while the forward dining area accommodates up to ten guests around a table positioned on a raised Bianco Rhino marble platform beneath a crystal chandelier.

Owner's Suite

The owner's suite occupies the forward section of the main deck. Entry is through a door finished in white leather on one side and black marble on the other, leading first to a private office with a desk and leather-clad wardrobe.

The sleeping area combines teak and marble wall panelling with a king-size bed featuring a marble-inset headboard. A 65-inch television is concealed behind a mirrored panel to maintain clean interior lines. 

Forward, twin walk-in wardrobes lead to an en suite bathroom finished entirely in Bianco Rhino marble, complete with a hydro-massage shower incorporating chromotherapy.

Lower Deck Accommodation

Guest accommodation comprises four en suite cabins arranged in a mirror-image layout, including two VIP cabins and two guest cabins, one of which can be configured as either a double or twin. Each cabin follows the same interior design language as the owner's suite, with leather-upholstered beds, pale carpeting, teak detailing and televisions concealed behind mirrored panels.

The guest accommodation can be accessed via either the central lift or a teak staircase finished with white leather wall panels and brown leather handrails.

Crew accommodation is positioned forward.

Upper Deck

The upper deck combines interior and exterior entertaining spaces.

Skylounge

The enclosed skylounge includes an L-shaped sofa, a leather armchair and a 75-inch television, with large sliding glass doors opening onto the aft deck. A service pantry located alongside the lounge includes a wine cabinet, refrigerator, dishwasher and ice maker.

Aft Deck

The aft section has been configured with lounge seating and an outdoor dining table for ten guests. Wide side decks provide uninterrupted access between the aft entertaining area and the forward lounge located ahead of the wheelhouse.

Forward Lounge and Tender Storage

The bow area incorporates a C-shaped sofa together with two raised sofas that conceal the yacht's tender garage beneath. This area houses a Williams 625 tender, two jet skis and additional water toys, which are launched using an integrated crane incorporated into the navigation mast.

Sundeck

Offering more than 100 square metres of exterior space, the sundeck has been divided into three distinct areas. 

Aft is a Jacuzzi surrounded by custom sunpads, which, like the beach club pool, can remain filled while underway.

The central section features a lounge with two bespoke L-shaped sofas, while forward an American bar and dining area for ten guests sit beneath the hardtop.

A rotating 55-inch television concealed within the dining furniture completes the deck's entertainment offering.

Riva's New Flagship

With the delivery of Sairu, Riva enters a new segment of the superyacht market while remaining true to the design characteristics that define the brand.

By combining a sub-500GT platform with expansive outdoor spaces, flexible guest areas and contemporary interior design, the 54Metri establishes a new flagship for the Italian shipyard and sets the benchmark for future models in the series.
