74m Superyacht Nome Joins the Water

The latest addition to the Amels 242 series has officially taken to the seas. Measuring 74 metres, the newly delivered superyacht Nome marks the eighth hull in this celebrated line from Amels, and she emerges with a powerful presence both inside and out.

Built in the Netherlands, Nome was most recently spotted during her sea trials off the coast of Vlissingen in April 2024, where she revealed a bold exterior palette: a rich navy blue hull contrasted by a soft ivory-white superstructure — a striking combination that sets the tone for the design narrative carried throughout the yacht.

Interiors have been masterfully crafted by Winch Design, who was entrusted with curating a bespoke environment that reflects Nome's refined character. Shades of blue continue throughout the interiors, where natural stones and premium materials take centre stage. Among the most distinctive features is a dramatic entrance wall inlaid with semi-precious blue agate, setting a luxurious tone from the moment guests step aboard. Blue marbles and intricate mosaics are also used to great effect — particularly in the yacht’s dedicated wellness area, creating a spa-like serenity on the lower deck.

Built with lifestyle and leisure in mind, Nome offers expansive outdoor and indoor spaces. A private owner's deck features a Jacuzzi with panoramic views, while the aft deck hosts a generous swimming pool perfect for lounging or entertaining. Below, a wellness zone invites guests to unwind in total privacy.

Across her spacious decks, there are several areas designed for dining and socialising. Accommodation is provided for up to 12 guests in six comfortable cabins, ensuring both privacy and ease throughout the journey.

Performance-wise, the yacht spans a 12.5-metre beam and sits at a 3.9-metre draft, delivering a top speed of 16.5 knots.

With her bold palette, bespoke interiors and superlative amenities, Nome is more than just the latest delivery in the Amels 242 series — she’s a dynamic expression of craftsmanship.
